Molema is around 500km from both Johannesburg and Gaborone, with driving times around 5 and 6 hours respectively. The camp is around 4 hours from the northern gates of the Kruger National Park.
Driving from Johannesburg guests should follow the N1 to Polokwane then the R521 to Alldays. At Alldays take a right and immediately left, then next right and follow this dirt road to the Platjan border post. After the border, continue straight on to a T-junction where you turn right. Follow this road for 25km until you see the Molema signboard on your right hand side. Molema is 3.8km from this point.
Please note that the Limpopo River crossing at Platjan is on a 3m wide causeway. If the Limpopo River is flowing too strongly, it cannot be crossed - the alternative then is to drive down to Martin’s Drift which is approximately three hour’s drive from Molema.
Driving from Gaborone, guests should head to Selebi-Phikwe and then on to Bobonong. Keep to the main road in Bobonong until you reach a roundabout, where you turn right. Follow this road to a T-junction where you turn right to Mathathane. Continue on this road and turn left at a signboard reading ‘Mashatu 100km’. Follow this road passing Molalatau en route and continuing past the turning for Mathathane. After 62km you will reach a T-junction, where you turn left onto a dirt road signed to Lentswe-le-Moriti. After about 5.6km you will see the Molema signboard on your right, and Molema is 3.8km from this point.
